The repeated use of our facial muscles to express ourselves creates frown lines, crow's feet, forehead lines and wrinkles.
Once these lines start to appear, they may be noticeable even without the facial expressions that created them in the first place!
Botox or Vistabel injected through a fine needle work by relaxing the muscles of facial expression. This improves the appearance of the lines and wrinkles in the overlying skin creating a softer and youthful look usually within a few days. The average length of effect of the treatment is about 3 months but this may extend with regular treatment as the muscles are re-educated.
Other areas that can be treated are bunny lines around the nose and puckering of the chin.
Using a very fine needle the injections cause only minimal discomfort and takes only a few minutes. Any side effects from treatment are minimal and temporary and are explained to you prior to undergoing this treatment.
